What is Africana Studies?
Africana Studies is an interdisciplinary department with faculty expertise in anthropology, sociology, history, political science, culture, literature and law. Our research spans geographical boundaries and time periods. We seek to comprehensively pursue the production, dissemination and application of Africana-centered knowledge as the basis of improving our communities.
